We are a team of data scientists and football analysts dedicated to accuracy, transparency, and trust. Every insight we publish is backed by real data and open verification.
NerdyTips was founded by Computer Science graduates frustrated by the lack of data-driven, transparent analysis in the football community. We saw an industry filled with 'gut feelings' and hidden results, so we set out to build what we, as data scientists, would want to use. After months of testing and model validation, our first AI model—NT 3.0—was officially launched on May 19, 2021.
In the following years, the system evolved through multiple generations—NT 4.0 and NT 4.5—each iteration improving prediction precision, data processing, and adaptability. Today, the current version known as the NT Apex Engine represents the culmination of years of continuous learning and refinement. It processes thousands of data points daily, from xG and team form to player performance metrics, adapting in real time to new patterns and match contexts.
Our foundation is a dedicated in-house team of data scientists and engineers, many holding advanced degrees (M.S. or Ph.D.) in fields like artificial intelligence and predictive modeling. This team oversees the full lifecycle of the NT Apex Engine—from development and back-testing to daily performance audits. Our football specialists complement this process by evaluating model behavior within real-world football dynamics, ensuring a balance between statistical accuracy and contextual understanding. We don’t guess—we measure.
Editorial Independence: Our insights are 100% automated and data-driven, based solely on objective analysis. We have no affiliations with bookmakers or external sponsors. Your trust comes first—always.
The NT Apex Engine analyzes dozens of data points per match, from xG (Expected Goals) and player metrics to team form. Each prediction is generated fully automatically, without manual intervention or bias.
Once a forecast is generated, it is locked and published for our subscribers. After the match ends, the result is automatically logged and added to our open CSV and GitHub repository—win or lose.
This is our 'human-in-the-loop' phase. Our data scientists and football specialists review outcomes, not predictions. We analyze the model’s performance to discover new patterns, fine-tune weightings, and shape the next iteration of our AI.
We publish every historical match prediction and accuracy score openly. Our complete dataset is available as a single CSV file, which you can download directly or audit on GitHub. The GitHub repository logs the daily commit history, providing a verifiable, timestamped record that no predictions are ever altered after a match is played.
To support our continuous R&D, data processing, and 100% ad-free platform, daily predictions are available through subscriptions. This model ensures independence and allows us to focus solely on data quality and accuracy.
We believe in fair access. After each match is played, its prediction and result are permanently added to our public open-data archive (CSV and GitHub). Subscription pricing remains intentionally affordable, making professional-grade football insights available to all passionate fans.
To ensure full transparency and compliance across jurisdictions, NerdyTips operates under two verified entities:
Registered in the European Union (Romania) — responsible for compliance and data transparency across EU and US regions.
Registered in the United States — managing international operations and strategic partnerships worldwide.
This dual-entity framework ensures accountability, traceability, and GDPR compliance. We operate with total transparency—every dataset, every result, every log is auditable. For any inquiries or data requests, please visit our Contact Page.
